Yes, it is, because I don't often do it. In fact, I hardly ever shop for clothes, & when I do, I tend to only go to a few shops in my area, or I go to charity shops, the internet or through catalouges.

Then there's clothes shops, & a lot of them! Seriously, in the city, there's so many of them, I was quite intimidated by it as I was looking for a Russian hat & didn't have a clue where to look, although I ended up buying the one I came across first early in my search as I looked around a bit first, but it was expensive! £16 for a hat!? Wow... Well, it's expensive to me, but in general, it's a hat... come on, how expensive can they be?

I got it through because it was nice, & I suddenly had the urge to buy a Russian hat after seeing a boy wear one when I was at Memorabilia (he was the one who came up to me talking about TF2 since I was cosplayed). They're cool though, & cozy. ^-^

I saw a Cookie Monster jacket too that I would've liked, but a t-shirt of him would do for me, since it was nice, but I prefer a t-shirt I saw once of him, & it's cheaper. :)

Aaanyway, I'm off again tomorrow maybe to do some more "clothes shopping", & when I say that, I don't mean womeny shopping for shoes & tops & all that, just stuff I like. I saw some nice boots though & general t-shirts & stuff.... yeah. XD

I have no update really, I just wanted to put this. :\

Friday night (night before going to Memorabilia), I'm in bed, & mum comes into the room telling me & my friend (since she stopped over) that he's bleeding & all, so at about 11pm, she goes to the vets, which is expensive, but we thought it had to be done.

I await nervously though for her return, but he's fine, so he was lucky to only have an injured jaw instead of being killed, which has happened before to one of our other cats some years ago. :(

He's almost himself now, minus that he still looks a bit messy, as they didn't clean him up, being that it'd hurt.

Indeed, it was much better than J-Culture as it was quite small there, which wasn't their fault, but the NEC is huge & it was generally better stall-wise, cosplay-wise, sort of, as we didn't see that many because most cosplayers were on Sunday, but they had Darth Vader, Startroopers, Jack Sparrow, two of the David Tennant 'The Doctor's & Daleks from Doctor Who! :D

I also met a star who was in Doctor Who & I got a photo with her, while my friend was with Craig Charles from Red Dwarf. :)

I found out though that the cosplayers were mainly in Sunday, but Sunday's are usually complicated for me because transport sucks on Sundays, so I might've not been able to make it, or at least, not in time, but I wished that I'd looked into that just to be sure, as I wanted to see more cosplayers... :\

What's wierd though is that only one person came up to me (just after the Con had finished) & actually said they knew who I was, while others didn't, or they didn't know who I was because they aren't familar with TF2, like the actress I met, which is fair enough, but at J-Culture, I got like 6-7 people going like "Oh a Scout!" & that place is much smaller than this time.

I also spent about £30 on mostly Bleach stuff, which wasn't intentional, but there was just more Bleach stuff I prefered, but I also got a Death Note poster, an Only Fools & Horses mug (which I later found out by my mum that the Pound Shop sells them for £1 instead of £5! I must go again! Maybe in March I'll go, then to London in May. :D

I am writing this from college as my computer, for some reason, won't even turn on! The monitor works fine, but if it's truely broken, then it means I won't be on the internet much. I can use it at college & my local library, if I can find my library card (it's gone missing in my house somewhere!)

So yeah... this suck. XD It gives me more time to work on my TF2 Soldier cosplay though (nearly done!) I hope I'm still okay to go to the Convention... (money problems are a bitch!) Kind of my fault we're in this mess though... (I spent most of my job centre plus money on anime/manga & games stuff before we needed more money, even though mum told me to keep some behind for safe keeping, but I wouldn't listen...)

Yes, I went to my first convention today! I cosplayed as Scout from Team Fortress (in red) but I wasn't great as I had the ear piece & baseball missing, which is pretty specific when it comes to Scout... & I had one pentant instead of two because I suck at making them so badly that one fell off because it just... was too weak (it was only made of cardboard!)

Anyway, my real life friend, known as paranoidanimegirl on YouTube came along with me, but she didn't cosplay, but she did make the Chobits ears but because she thought I wasn't cosplaying, she didn't want to either (well, not cosplaying exactly... just wearing the ears.)

I met a blue Engineer there too which was cool & I had a photo with him (which didn't turn out though, damnit!) My digital camera no longer works after paranoidanimegirl dropped it a while back... XD A few people recognised me, one which asked for a photograph (I haz fanz!) & one who acted like a Spy towards me by 'stabbing' me in the back saying "I never really was on your side." I cracked up!

I had a blast but it wasn't as good as I thought it could be stall-wise, since I couldn't find much I wanted to buy that wasn't overpriced or just things I didn't have money for, like bags, they were cool, so I got a Bleach keyring of Ichigo & a Death Note patch of Light.

Except for Karen, I've finished all the stories on it, but when selecting a character, a bar appears & it is giving me lots of options to choose from, but I don't know it means.

I also found out that in the gallery, unique images have dialouge with them, so I'd love especially to understand the Subaru & Seishiro ones. I found the sunglasses one funny because I heard Seishiro laugh & I've never heard him laugh before! Kinda a big thing to me! XD

The endings are also a problem since I don't know much Japanese (only a few words I picked up), so I'd like to actually learn to speak & read it (I wonder if I can... only by taking a course probably though.)

I played Card of Fate today for about three hours, bur honestly, it's quite boring... but I played it a lot to see what the ending was for Subaru, Seishiro & Fuuma, but it's nothing exciting. I can't even read any of the text which makes it less fun & harder to even win in this card game-like video game.










As for Unmei no Sentaku, I'd like to buy it, but in the meantime I downloaded all 23 parts but it wouldn't work so I couldn't play it sadly at all! :( I don't know what's wrong, but Card of Fate works fine, though I had to download a ROM-Wonder Swan... whatever that is. There's a Japanese console called something like that.

I want to buy the game but my concern is that will it be able to play on my Playstation 1? It's a regular PS1 & they were all made in Japan (right?), I figured that even though the game was only released in Japan, it should work.

Around LJ, people have been saying there should be a TB anime & I agree, but since the series is nearly 20 years old, is an anime series nothing more than just a dream? Usually mangas are made into anime but Tokyo Babylon was a big hit at the time, but now not so much since it's quite old & people lose interest.

Having said that, I believe that a new generation can be introduced to Tokyo Babylon who weren't aware of it before, but it's CLAMP's choice, although does anyone think that if there was enough of a popular demand to a TB anime, would they consider it?

Yes, I own it on DVD now but I still have the VCR to sell. XD I thought buying the DVD might have extras on it but not really. Oh well. Seeing the film first is bad & when Subaru & Seishiro died so quickly, I didn't feel sorry for them since I didn't know who they were. The film's just too squashed up too & EVERYONE dies, except Kamui, which sucks! The anime/manga is so much better!

20. Were there any cast voices in the movie that you thought were sharp/perfect?
LOL, someone did a review about the film & said that Kamui's dub was awful. I agree, especially when he says "Stay therrrre!" Fuuma should also be in Thundercats due to those "manly yells." Wow, that part made me laugh! >< Check the review out, it's funny. :)

21. If you had made the movie, what kind of movie would it be?
The film would have totally been different for me because a story like that squashed into a film should never happen.

I would focus on the story of what happened after the ending, kind of like a slice of life story. It would be totally different to what X is about but it's not like I can carry on when the world has already been saved. This isn't Dragonball Z or Naruto (NOTE: I like those animes, I'm just saying you can't keep the story going.)

22. Have you seen the TV anime? Feel free to tell your impressions?
Yes! ^_^ I loved it! I only concern is that I think Subaru's & Seishiro's & Kamui's & Fuunma's last fights was too short, though thinking about it, would Kamui have lasted much longer in a fight against his best friend/lover? Probably not, but I think Subaru & Seishiro should have had some sort of bitch talk of some kind & a lot more anger (from Subaru's side obviously. XD)

23. Were there any cast voices in the TV anime that you thought were sharp/perfect?
I hate Seishiro's dub! >_< Subaru's & Sorata's were okay, though the Japanese overall is better. Fuuma's dub was excellent though! Kamui's was quite good. Hmmm... the dub was quite good I think, I can't remember everyone's dubbed voice.

24. If you had made the TV anime, what kind of series would it be?
Put everything that's in the manga into the tv series, especially the glass scene with Fuuma & Kamui (wow I'm cruel! XD Sorry I like gore & stuff!) & Seishiro's & Subaru's moment when you can actually see Subaru clinging to Seishiro's coat as he's dying, & Seishiro touches Subaru's face. Aww, sweet, but so sad! :'( Include all the Sub/Sei moments in there too like the touching (XD), fight scene moments, etc. Or, dare I say it, scrap the whole Seishiro death thing & let him live. I'm sorry if I sound like a hopeless fangirl (seriously, I'm not scary like some are O_o;), but that storyline is just too sad for me & I won't let it go until there's an alternate versian of it or if he comes back to life... or if Subaru dies & is re-united with him. Then I'll be happy!

I prefer anime to manga in general but the manga is better... but I still like to watch rather than read, so maybe a bit of both? LOL, movie!? How is that better!?

Either that or he actually did try to kill Subaru anyway by risking his life to see if the spell would really work, because maybe he was bored & dying wouldn't mean anything to him... but I don't want to think of it like that.

Aoki's wife probably does most of the cooking for him & Karen lives on her own. *Sigh* I'm going into this a bit deep aren't I. I say it's Sorata vs Seishiro!

Recently I've bought a bunch of Zelda doujinshis & all are being scanned. It's taking time though as some have a lot of pages (my longest is 130 pages! O_o;) so I only feel like scanning about up to 30 pages a day & what day I feel like scanning because it is boring, but I'm scanning them for translation, but since they're scanned I might as well share them.

Made by me but mum helped to roll it because it was so heavy to push up hill because it was already heavy but I wanted more snow to make it big but some snow has melted while some has gone hard which is no good. I even got some lads admiring it & one said it was amazing. ^-^

I'm proud though he's easy to make since he's round. You can just make out his feet too. He's about 40 inches high.

The animals are like magnets as they can go on your fridge, door, etc. About £1 each (roughly $3 USA dollars. Ask me anything you want about them, though some have been sold.

The Pokemon vary due to size & such. The Blastoise has been sold. Some of them are quite rare due to eBay's prices, but I will go lower than the lowest on there (e.g. Last time I looked, Gengar was going for about $20 USA dollars.

Most of the Digimon have been sold, but the Hamtaro toys are still available.
